Introduction
The Chinese government offers CSC scholarships to international students to pursue their studies in China. This scholarship is offered for Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. studies. 279 universities accept CSC applications from international students. Out of 279 universities, one student can select only one university. Students must submit their application on the CSC portal and on the desired university portal. They have to follow the deadlines of universities for their application as the scholarship has no its own deadline. And each university has a different deadline. Mostly deadlines are between October to March. Moreover, the results are announced till June to July.
Types
CSC Scholarships are of three types,
1: Type A
In this type, candidates have to apply through HEC and CSC portal. For that, HAT test is also a requirement.
2: Type B
In this type, candidates have to apply directly on the university portal and on CSC portal. It is the most recommended one as this don’t require HAT scores.
3: Type C
In this type, candidates have to apply through the embassy.
Documents Required
1: Passport
2: Notarized Academic Transcripts/degree in English or Chinese
3: CV
4: Personal Statement
5: Research proposal for Ph.D. and Study Plan for MS.
6: Recommendation Letters
7: English Proficiency letter and some universities also require IELTS/TOEFL.
9: When applying for Chinese taught programs, candidate should provide HSK scores.
8: Physical Examination Form
9: Police Clearance form
10: Some universities also require acceptance letter. And it is always better to have an acceptance letter.
