Introduction
China offers several partially and fully funded scholarships for international students to pursue education in Chinese universities. 20 scholarships are discussed below. The majority of them are for Master and Ph.D. studies. Moreover, few universities in China require IELTS while the majority only require English proficiency which students can get from their previous universities where they have completed their degree. Additionally, some universities also require acceptance letters while some don’t. However, having an acceptance letter can increase the chances of admission. There is an application fee for admission in some universities whereas some don’t.

Intake
Most of the Chinese universities have September intake only. Only 2 to 3% universities have Spring intake.
